Welcome to the New York University Stern Center for Research Computing (SCRC). The Center is devoted to providing world-class computational facilities and services to researchers at the Stern School of Business at New York University. These services include a moderately sized Slurm HPC cluster, Cloud Computing (Virtual Machines), data acquisition and storage, research software, and access to WRDS (Wharton Research Data System).

SCRC also offers help through personal consultations such as

  • finding the right software, datasets, or computational services that best fit your research needs.
  • using or understanding our compute services such as batch or interactive processing.
  • purchasing, transferring, or storing data.
  • getting and using a virtual machine for specialized computational or secure data requirements.
